The Interview Process

Candidates selected for an interview will complete the process as follows:

  • Initial Interview: A  30-minute interview via GoogleMeet. You will receive an email announcing your continuation in the application process with a scheduling link, use this link to schedule a time-slot that works with your schedule. The recruitment team then identifies individuals to move to the next stage of the interview process. It may take up to 2 weeks to hear back after an initial interview.

  • Case Study Interview: The second interview at enFocus is a Case Study, or skills demonstration. Each candidate will have 7 full days to conduct the required research and preparation to craft their presentation. This interview provides you a chance to demonstrate your work style and abilities. We are looking for skills like problem identification, solution generation, and planning. Your case study presentation will take 10 minutes of this hour-long interview.

  • References and Background Checks: The Fellowship Program and our Permanent Positions like project manager will require you to submit three references (name, email, title, and phone number) with your case study presentation. Reference checks are completed after the case study interview and can take several weeks to complete depending on the responsiveness of your references. You can help speed up the process by letting them know that they may be contacted via email to schedule a brief reference phone call. You can expect to hear back after about 2-3 weeks with our decision or offer. It is possible that you will be notified of a placement on our waitlist.
