Allison D'Ambrosia
Project Manager
Allison D’Ambrosia has spent equal parts of her life in 3 places: Southern New Jersey; South Bend, IN; and Oxford, England. After earning a BA in Religious Studies and Music from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN, Allison spent the summer in Krakow, Poland, at the Tertio Millennio Seminar for Human Dignity before moving to Oxford for a Master in Theology. Allison focused on upholding human dignity at U.S. and British universities by employing medieval monastic practices of formation and friendship.
Allison’s professional experience in university strategic planning and programming led to her passion for developing best-practice policies for marginalized student populations through her elected position on the University Trustee Board and her permanent position in student engagement and policy. While at Oxford, she helped create the University's first mental health policy, update and reform the parental leave policy, and the University’s Strategic Plan–including creating a new post-graduate college (the first in decades). During Covid-19, Allison worked as the Special-Person-of-Contact to ensure the safety and understanding of international students from over 86 countries.
Allison is choosing to move back to her hometown of South Bend and is excited to work in a mission-driven organization with people who want to leave things better than they found them. Allison uses her free time to obsess over coffee, cook overly-extravagant recipes for no reason, travel whenever and wherever possible, and have little adventures each week!
