Amy Lee
Project Engineer
Amy was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. At the age of 16, she came to the US to finish her high school education at the Indiana Academy for science, mathematics, and humanities located in Muncie, Indiana. After graduating, Amy pursued a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Purdue University.
During her undergraduate years, she found passion in the innovation of the healthcare industry, and in the accessible/affordable healthcare in both rural and urban areas within the united states. As a student, Amy has worked on reducing catheter-associated urinary tract infections within hospitals and other healthcare services where she performed extensive market research, customer interviews, and stakeholder meetings. She also developed a benchtop model of the peripheral nerve vasculature using microfluidic devices during her senior year.
Amy joined enFocus to help innovate within the South Bend-Elkhart region. She is very excited to be pursuing her passion for public health initiatives and the urban development process.
Outside of work, Amy can be seen running, swimming, climbing, doing yoga, cooking, and spending time with friends. She would also like to learn to ski sometime in the near future.
