Carlos Centellas
Citywide Classroom Coordinator
Carlos originally comes from Argentina and Bolivia, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón.
Prior to enFocus, Carlos developed vast experiences in volunteering and program coordination across South America, including in Bolivia, Argentina, and Perú–where he discovered a love for working within intercultural populations. He’s further explored these professional interests here in the United States for the past 7 years.
Carlos was drawn to enFocus by the opportunity to support local residents through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program. He’s been thrilled by the camaraderie of the enFocus staff, and he's excited to continue to collaborate on projects to reduce language barriers in this region by incorporating Spanish speakers from the community.
Outside of work, Carlos has a passion for local theater, teaching Zumba, participating in musicals, and generally going wherever the music carries him.
