Egla Bregu

Senior Fellow

Egla was born and raised in Korce, Albania. At the age of 18, she moved to Italy where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work. While there, she had the chance to work on projects that involved children, immigrants, and the elderly, acquiring administrative, legal, and conflict-resolution skills.

In 2015, she moved to the U.S. and soon began to serve the Juvenile Court in St. Joseph County as Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Supervisor. While holding this role, Egla found a passion for management, developing plans, and being part of a team that works to find holistic solutions that better serve families in St. Joseph County. In 2021, she decided to pursue this passion further and started a Master of Science in Management at Notre Dame, from which she graduated in May 2022.

Egla joined enFocus to continue with her passion for helping others and giving back to the South Bend - Elkhart region.

In her free time, Egla volunteers as a CASA in St. Joseph County–but she also loves to travel, read novels, explore the region, and hang out with her friends.
