Innovation Fellow
Jon Huber grew up in Annapolis, Maryland before moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan for college in 2019.
In 2023, he received a BS in Computer Science and Environment from the University of Michigan, with a specialization in Natural Resource Management. Before entering his junior year of college, Jon enjoyed a wildlife program in Condon, Montana–where he studied human-wildlife interaction and the conservation of threatened and endangered species. After graduating, Jon worked in environmental stewardship with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) before moving to South Bend in January 2024.
At enFocus, Jon hopes to combine his passions for ecology and conservation with technical skills such as data analytics, remote sensing, and UI/UX design. However, he is very open to gaining experience in a variety of sectors, and is looking forward to collaborating with a diverse group of colleagues and stakeholders. He hopes to make a lasting, positive impact in the South Bend-Elkhart region through his work and relationships.
Jon has a wide range of interests. He loves to play basketball, soccer, and chess, go to baseball and hockey games, draw and paint, and hike at various state and national parks.
