Roseanna Lemrow
Innovation Fellow
Roseanna is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus on Comparative Culture and Identity, and a major in Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
Driven by a passion for global engagement, social justice, and community development, Roseanna is committed to fostering cross-cultural understanding and supporting initiatives that create lasting positive change. She has held a variety of civic and leadership roles, including serving as Vice President of the Caribbean Student Association at the University of Michigan and a Peer Instructor for a Global Living and Learning Community.
In her professional journey, Roseanna has contributed to several impactful projects. She supported English language learners as an ESL Instructor at the South Bend Empowerment Zone Schools and collaborated with the City of South Bend and the University of Notre Dame’s Civic Innovation Lab to design traffic-calming solutions aimed at improving neighborhood safety. Additionally, she helped secure funding through grant writing for low-income housing through partnerships with local leaders. Her legal internship at The T.R.O Law Group provided valuable experience in legal research and documentation. These experiences have strengthened her analytical skills and deepened her commitment to policy-driven, community-focused solutions.
A passionate traveler and advocate for sustainable development, Roseanna has lived and studied in Spain, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and France, gaining unique perspectives on global citizenship, urban planning, and community engagement. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cultures, working on social justice projects, and connecting with local communities. She also cherishes spending time with family, going for walks in Howard Park, and enjoying tacos on the West Side of South Bend.
